Simple Sale-A-Bration Card

Happy Monday!

How was your Super Bowl party last night?
Ha! We were on our way back from a skating competition in Lake Placid, NY and got to listen to that crazy game on the radio. It was wild, wasn't it?
I didn't have a horse in that race, my Redskins are gonna be there next year, so I wasn't really rooting for anyone. Everytime I looked at Facebook on my phone, all my friends were posting about the game, the commercials and their food! Eventually, I just had to not look, it was making me hungry.

Anyway, the Super Bowl of Stampin' Up! began on January 22nd - otherwise known as SALE-A-BRATION!
That's the time of year where everyone gets something FREE whether you are a client, hostess or new demonstrator - pretty cool, huh?

Here's a cute little card I created for a swap I was in last month using some fun Sale-A-Bration products:

The card base is Whisper White and the first layer is Rich Razzleberry. It's stamped randomly with an image from the Madison Avenue stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink.

I layered a strip of Pool Party on the left side and layered a smaller strip of the Sale-A-Bration Sycamore Street Designer Paper on top of that.

For my greeting, I stamped an image from the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set with Rich Razzleberry onto a Whisper White scrap. I stamped the little butterfly from that same stamp set in Pool Party on top of it, kind of a simple collage effect. It's punched out with the Decorative Label Punch.

The ribbon is the Island Indigo Satin from the Sycamore Street Sale-a-Bration Ribbon and Button pack. I punched a hole in the top of the label I'd made and threaded the ribbon through it to make a tag. It's layered on the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Lastly, I stamped the little butterfly again with Pool Party ink on Pool Party cardstock. It's punched out with the new Butterfly punch in the Spring Mini Catalog. I curled it's little wings with my Bone Folder and added a small Basic Rhinestone to the center. It's added to the card with a Glue Dot and there you have it - Done!

Here's a few of the products I used on this card that you can PURCHASE! The rest you can only get for FREE!!
