Playing With Sneak Peek Toys - The Gift Bag Punch Board!

Oh man.....

Are you guys ever gonna LOVE the new Stampin' Up! Catalog!
I've had a blast playing around with all the New Sneak Peek goodies I unpacked last week - if you want to watch the video of that fun time, click HERE for the link.

One of the very first things you will want to put on your order is the New Gift BAG Punch Board.
It quickly and easily lets you create adorable gift bags from a variety of papers.
Check out these two I made the other day:

I used the NEW Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack for this one - when I opened my pack, a piece of the Basic Black fell out so I took it as a sign that I was supposed to create something with it. LOL!

I used the Whisper White Organza Ribbon for the handles - SO glad that ribbon isn't retiring! I chose not to use the hole punch that's on the Punch Board and added the ribbon holes myself with my Crop-A-Dile.
The tags are made with the Note Tag Punch and the Merry Everything clear-mount stamp set. I stamped in Bermuda Bay ink on Whisper White card stock.

Believe it or not, I used just one sheet of 12" x 12" paper for this bag - it was so easy peasy.
Check out the Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim...
I wanted to jazz up the edge of the contrasting trim a bit, so I added some of the sequins with Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. (Tombow, Green Glue - whatever you call it. I call it awesome.)

And of course, it had to have some sparkle to match the sequins, so I added 2-Way Glue to the white stripes on the bag front and covered it in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
Fancy, huh? :)

Here's the other gift bag I made, out of NEW Designer Paper!
I used the Bohemian Designer Series paper with these fabulous, bold color combinations.

For this bag, I used the hole punch that is part of the Punch Board and opted to thread the Natural Chevron Ribbon through them for a different look. The co-ordinating tag hangs from the knot in the front.

A bag this colorful and bold needs a tag that contrasts and neutralizes the colors a bit so I used Very Vanilla card stock to cut a tag with the Chalk Talk Framelits and my Big Shot.
I used Crushed Curry, Blackberry Bliss and Island Indigo - all colors found in the Designer Paper to create the tag. The greeting is from the NEW Friendly Wishes stamp set and the border is from the NEW and co-ordinating Bohemian Borders stamp set.

It was SO much fun to use this new tool - I know you'll love it as much as I do once you get it in your crafting space.

Be sure to add Item #135862 Gift Box Punch Board $20 to your Wish List. You'll be able to order it in my Online Store on June 2nd!
