Swap Showcase #3

We've made it to Wednesday - for all you stampers that means you are one day closer to being able to stamp all day! Yay! For me, it means my vacation is almost over. Boo!

This week, through Thursday, I'm showcasing some of my very favorite Swap cards from Convention. I am currently on vacation in Myrtle Beach and I thought it would be a great time to share some of the fabulous artwork and inspiration I was lucky enough to receive from some dear friends and some new ones too! I'll be back to regular posting on Friday, but for now - I'm unplugged! :)

ALL of these cards were made by other artists - NONE of them were created by me. I've placed my watermark on each photo to protect the artists work and listed them individually beneath each card.

Today's selections are some fabulous random cards - no particular occasion, but they could be used for many things and many different people.

Of course the shabby chic look of this one jumped out at me right away - it's just up my alley! Gorgeous! I love the use of the new oval Designer Frame Embossing Folder here:

Card by Alissa Weaver

This card showcases that same frame in a completely different way and I love how it's used to highlight the stamped collage images. They are from the new Established Elegance stamp set and yes, you know I own it already! :) One of my dear friends gave this to me and I think it's one of those frameable ones! Love you too Di!

Card by Diana Gibbs

There's a gorgeous new Hostess stamp set called Faith in Nature and I need to own it! Problem is, now that we can spend our generous Hostess Dollars any way our little hearts desire, I keep bumping it off my list for practical things like cardstock. Crazy, I know!
I love how this artist used pastels to color the image and the simple, crimped strip on the side was the perfect accent.

Card by Unknown Artist (no name on the back!)

We all know that masculine cards are hard for some of us to dream up. This one is fantastic! Clean, simple and rugged, it showcases the new Need for Speed stamp set.

Card by Jenn Turoff

Here's a simple beauty that takes a few easy elements and comes together wonderfully for a lovely, free-spirited card. I love this layout! It uses the new My Friend stamp set, which is one of my personal favorites from the new catalog!

Card by Sheila Cooper

So, that's it for today! I have more for you tomorrow, so come on back!
Stamped blessings,
~~Robin
