Be Joyful - a Clean and Simple Notecard

Somedays, I am the queen of clean and simple.
Other days, I can't walk away from a card unless it has 7 layers, buttons, brads, ribbon and a cherry on top.
Well, maybe not the cherry, but you get where I'm going....

In any event, there's a time and place for it all and yesterday was the time and place for this clean and simple beauty:

I needed a little notecard to include in a package I was mailing and the only stamp set sitting out on my table was the Joyful Season stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.
Here'a s photo of it:

This is a fantastic stamp set for Christmas cards and projects - but for everyday?
Umm....ok. Being the lazy stamper I am, I thought, why not?

So, I inked up the Joyful greeting with Watermelon Wonder ink and stamped it in the lower right corner of the notecard. Next, I used my Always Artichoke Stampin' Write Marker from the Regals Collection and inked up just the "be" from one of the greeting stamps. I positioned it just so over the Joyful and voila!
Be Joyful!

Of course, it needed something else - so I got out the Petite Petals stamp set and inked up one of the flowers with my Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Marker from the Subtles Collection and stamped it four times randomly around the greeting.
But....flowers need centers, so I snipped off a few gold sequins from the roll of trim and added them on to the flowers with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.

(Ahem....that Glue Pen is one of my 5 MUST OWN products from the Holiday Catalog - have you ordered yours yet?)

I liked this project so much, I did a LIVE Periscope Broadcast for it and showed how to use that amazing glue pen.
Did you miss it?
You NEED to follow me on Periscope:

It's a new FREE app for iPhone and Android devices.
And if you download it - you may just be one step ahead of your kids and grandkids. It's pretty new stuff, but I LOVE how easy it is to connect with my followers and show them what's going on in the studio! You can watch the playback video for up to 24 hours, then POOF! It's gone.

When you watch either the live broadcast or playback video, you can tap the screen on your device to send me hearts! This tells me that you LIKE what I'm doing and what you are seeing! It also helps me to get found by other paper crafting freaks like us!
So, yeah...just do it, ok?

Since you probably missed the broadcast yesterday, I saved it to my phone and downloaded it to show you here with this blog post!
Yes, you're welcome! I think you're awesome too!
Here ya' go:

And here are all the products I used to create this project:
