Apple of My Eye - You're The Best!

If you follow my blog regularly, you've seen a LOT of this NEW stamp set Apple of My Eye over the past month. 

That's because I LOVE it! 

I really think it's the sleeper set in the new Occasions Catalog. 

Proving just how MUCH I love it, I even fussy-cut all the leaves in this card. Boom!

If that doesn't convince you - nuthin' will. 

Because I hate to fussy-cut anything.....

Just sayin'....

My inspiration for this design was my love of vintage - yes, really! 

Vintage fruit crate labels are gorgeous - they have really beautiful, kitschy artwork and awesome color combinations. So I kind of took that idea and made a modernized version of a vintage fruit crate label.

Going Global With You - Take 2!

Alrighty then! 

As promised yesterday, HERE is the 2nd Generation of my Going Global swap card.....

I Love, Love, LOVE the Island Indigo background! 

The depth of the color just makes all the collaged elements POP for me. 

What say you?

The only things I changed from yesterday's card to today's version was to remove the Whisper White background layer AND I stamped the World Map background image directly on the Island Indigo card from in coordinating ink. All the collage elements remain the same. 

But WHAT a difference, eh?

Going Global With You!

So...remember yesterday's post about swap cards? 

Sometimes, you create something that just doesn't cut the mustard so to speak. 

This card was one of THOSE.

I loved the concept, but to ME, there was just something not right about it. 

So, I'm gonna let you be the judge. 

Today, I'm posting the reject card. 

Tomorrow I'll be posting the card I LOVED and made multiples of.

I really love all the collaged elements on this card, but the background just didn't sing to me - know what I mean?

Botanical Blooms Birthday Card

Did you guys know that I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for over 10 years? 

Yep, it's true - crazy how time flies, huh? :)

There's a lot of things I LOVE about being part of this fantastic company, but far and away is the creativity and sharing that takes place with my fellow demonstrators. 

One of the things we do is participate in swaps. We trade project ideas with each other. 

Online, virtual swaps of shareable artwork are one way we share, but we ALL LOVE the physical card swaps! We each create say, 20 of 1 specific design and we SWAP them, ending up with 20 different card ideas! 

Who wouldn't love that??

I just participated in several different swaps for the new Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Brochure and here is one of the cards I created: 

I combined a few different stamp sets and elements to make a fresh, clean and simple birthday card design. 

The main stamp sets I used are the NEW Botanical Blooms and the NEW Rose Wonder from the Occasions Catalog along with the coordinating Framelit Die Sets for the Big Shot.

The Sky is the Limit - Congratulations Card

Good morning crafty peeps! 

It's another day and I have another fresh idea for you with this fun Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Sky is the Limit.

Happy New Year!

You may have noticed that I took a few days off from work. :)

Thanks for understanding - much like most of you, we had a house full of family and friends and spent our Christmas holidays simply enjoying them and the season. 

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Season too!

Today's project is a sneak peek I created with an upcoming Sale-A-Bration stamp set - Sky is the Limit. You'll be able to get this stamp set FREE with any $50 purchase starting January 5th!
