Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge SSC149

Just a reminder that I am enjoying the Stampin' Up! cruise this week and all my posts were pre-scheduled.

Hey everyone - it's time for another great sketch challenge from Stamping 411! I love being on this design team - they are a great bunch of ladies and ALL very talented stampers too!
Here is this week's sketch from Selene:

And here is my interpretation of it:

I have used one of my favorite new stamp sets that is coming out in the new Summer Mini Catalog - Blissful Bride. The images in it are just elegantly simple and oh, so easy to work with. This card is one that I did for another swap I participated in this month - hope you liked it Diana! :) This week's sketch worked so beautifully for what I wanted to do with this stamp set for my card - you may notice that I stretched the sketch wide and moved my greeting up, but that is what a sketch is designed for - a creativity starter!

My card may look kind of ho-hum in the photo, but if you could only see it in person! I used all Shimmer White cardstock for the white with just a bit of Basic Black. The ribbon is Very Vanilla Taffeta over Basic Black Satin - just yummy!
The flowing ribbons on the dress were dressed up with Dazzling Diamonds glitter applied with the 2 way glue pen.

The new Lattice Embossing Folder worked so beautifully for added texture on this card! I really didn't see this folder as being so versatile, but it truly is - you will definitely want to add this one to your collection!

I hope you've enjoyed my card today - be sure to stop by the Stamping 411 blog and see what the other operators created with this sketch - I know you will be inspired! We'd love it if you played along with us as well!

Have a great weekend!
~~Robin
