Elizabeth in Black and Daffodil

Hooray! It's Friday!
I love Fridays - even though I work from home, there is something about the promise of the weekend that just makes me happy. Maybe it's because I know that Mark will be home with us or maybe it's because I feel more free to relax and enjoy my time. Either way, I dearly love my weekends!

Today's post is yet another card done with the fabulous Elizabeth A La Carte stamp - are you tired of this one yet? I hope not, because I love it so and I know you'll be seeing a lot of it!

My card is using Daffodil Delight, Basic Black and Whisper White. I used a piece of Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper as an accent panel. It's layered on a piece of Basic Black cardstock then wrapped with a piece of 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon tied up in a little knot. Simple and elegant!

The Daffodil cardstock base is stamped partially with the Elizabeth stamp in Daffodil Delight ink, just to give it a little emphasis. I then stamped Elizabeth with Black Staz-On ink on Whisper White cardstock. This was layered on pieces of Daffodil Delight and Basic Black cardstock.
The greeting is from the Three Leaves A La Carte stamp and I've just stamped it on a scrap piece of white cardstock and punched it out with the Small Oval Punch. It's popped up on one of my favorite Stampin' Dimensionals! :)

For a final touch, I placed three of the new Rhinestone Jewels in a row at the top of the stamped panel. These Jewels are simply fabulous and add just the perfect accent in so many places! Plus the price point is amazing - just $4.95 for a package of 150 pieces!

I'm really glad you stopped by again today! If you love this card and need the supplies to make it for yourself, simply visit my Stampin' Up! Website to place your order.
