Clean and Simple Flower

Good morning stamping friends!
Happy Valentine's Day! I hope that for all of you this day gives you the chance to love and be loved in return!

My card today is yet another clean and simple design -

I've really loved the new Framed Tulip Embossing Folder and this time I used it with Whisper White cardstock and embossed the card front. It had been a while since I used the Awash with Flowers stamp set, so I pulled that one out and stamped just the single flower in Real Red ink. I then used my Aqua Painter and more Real Red ink to color it in. The little flower centers are colored with a Pink Pirouette Stampin' Write Marker.
My stem is stamped with Old Olive ink and I added a simple knot of Old Olive 5/8" Satin Ribbon. Last but not least, the greeting, from All Holidays, was stamped below the flower in Real Red.

Just a sweet little notecard that truly took me all of about 5 minutes to complete. I really encourage all of you who haven't stamped in a while to give the Clean and Simple look a try. Sometimes it's just what you need to get out of a rut, keep from feeling overwhelmed with choices or just get your mojo flowing again. And as you can see, the results can be lovely!

I hope you have a wonderful day, and I LOVE that you stopped by to visit!

Stamped blessings,
~~Robin
