Betsy's Blossoms in my Scrapbook

Happy Monday peeps!

I'm in a bit of mourning here today - my beloved Redskins came up short last night in their playoff game against the Seahawks. I can't be too bummed, they did win their Division for the first time since 1999 when no one expected them to be any more than 8-8 this year. That's something we can be proud of for sure!
And hey, there is always next year.

So, this morning my mind is on scrapbooking as I will be working on my 12 x 12 swap pages for Leadership Conference this week.
Yes, I said this week - I fly out on Wednesday morning, so I guess I'd better get busy, huh?

The pages I'm sharing today are ones that I adapted from a 12 x 12 swap at Convention last July. The original designer was my friend Kay Kalthoff from Minnesota. I changed a few things, but mostly the layouts are her ideas.

The color scheme is taken from the Floral District Designer Series paper - Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight and Baja Breeze.
All the stamping is from the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set with the exception of the monogram - that's from Broadsheet Alphabet, the same one I used in Friday's pages.

If you click on the photos individually, you can see pieces of Silver Glimmer paper to give these pages some extra sparkle. I love using that paper as an accent.

This layout is very simple, but would be wonderful for family photos or of extra pictures from a Senior Portrait sitting or something like it. The large mat sizes are accommodating for a variety of photos and journaling.

Here's a photo of the Designer paper I used:

#126919 - Floral District DSP  $10.95
It's got a great variety of patterns to choose from and I love the broad color spectrum it uses.

Here's the stamp set:

#126006 - Betsy's Blossoms  $21.95
Stamp images are always prettier when inked in color, but you can see how versatile these are for lots of different projects.

Well, I'm off to the gym, then the dentist and back to work - gotta get swaps done before I leave!!
Happy stampin',
~~Robin
