It's been wonderful sharing my #thankful29 project cards with you this month.
I still have 4 more days of November to share and I have some great ideas for Christmas starting tomorrow.

For today though, I wish you and yours a warm and wonderful holiday. I hope it's full of family and friends that make your hearts happy as we count all the wonderful blessings we enjoy in our lives!

#Thankful29 Project - A Card a Day in November (Day 18)

Well, the Retiring List of products from the Holiday Catalog was released on Monday. :(
There are a LOT of wonderful stamps and accessory items on that list that are going away forever. Sadly, the Woodland Embossing Folder is one of them.
(I'm SO sad about this!)
Be sure to order yours if you haven't already - you know you want it. And many of the cards I've been sharing and still have to share here this month use that folder. So you'll have PLENTY of great ideas for it!

This month, I'm posting one Fall themed card each day.
I love that so many choose November as a month to reflect and be thankful for the blessings in their lives.

Today's thankful is a simple one - I'm thankful for my mornings at home. Time when I can sip my coffee, read my Bible and enjoy the warmth of my fireplace. Moments like these are some of my most cherished.

Christmas Tiny Treat Box

I didn't set out to create a Christmas project yesterday - really I didn't. 

It was one of those yukky days - rainy, cloudy - HUMID - and a huge storm came through that made me feel like one of the three little pigs when the wind blew around the house. 

I was trying to get a Periscope live broadcast going and the crazy weather was interrupting my plans - especially with the lighting. 

I've got great natural light in the studio, but when it's dreary outside you can forget it! 

So, I sat down to play at my crafting table - remind me to show it to you some time, btw - and I was messing around with doing something different with the Woodlands Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. 

I've got a big package of the Tiny Treat Boxes and I thought it would be pretty cool if I could emboss those with that amazing folder. 

And whaddya know - it worked! 

Here's one of the pics: 

I had to tear the box apart to get it flat inside the embossing folder, but it worked out GREAT! 

It was completely embossed in just two passes through the Big Shot. Very cool. 

I used the Fast Fuse Adhesive to glue it back again  - best choice! That stuff sticks! 

So, after rubbing a little Soft Suede ink on the embossed box with a Stampin' Sponge, I was like, HOW am I going to decorate this little cutie??

I glanced around at the mess serendipity pile on my stamp table, I found this stamped greeting, a scrap of red glimmer paper, a few inches of Natural Chevron ribbon and my Stampin' Stapler. 

A rather eclectic grouping of supplies, but I love to mix textures and colors so I just decided to play.

I used my Note Tag Punch to punch the Red Glimmer paper scrap, flagged the ends of the ribbon with my Craft Scissors and then stapled the stamped greeting to them in a pile of layers. The greeting is from the Joyful Season stamp set and is stamped in Mossy Meadow. 

To finish it off, I added a Gold Basic Metal Button with a Glue Dot and tied it to the box with some Gold Cording, baker's box style. 

Super easy and super cute!
