Founders Circle - Zion National Park Trip

Just a few photos today from one of the highlights of my Founders Circle Trip last week.

I was fortunate enough to travel to Zion National Park with 12 of my stampin' buds last Thursday. I'd never traveled to Zion before and I was stunned by how beautiful it was. Really, words can't describe it.

Here is a shot of our whole group in front of Checkerboard:

L to R (back row): Laura Milligan, Sandy Hancock, Glenda Travelstead, Dania Welch, Denise Sullivan, Amy Storrie, Sharon McNeely, Rolanda Patton, Linda Bauwin. L to R (front row): Susie Wood, Me, Audra Moncur, Judy Garza

This is me with Susie Wood at one of our stops:

I was at a loss for words as I took in the natural beauty that surrounded me. You know that doesn't happen much!
Those mountains make you seem very insignificant next to them.

We did some short hikes on well traveled trails. One of them took us down by the Virgin River. You know I had to go dip my feet - just to say I'd done it!

The wildlife wasn't "too" wild. Check out this squirrel. He came right up to us and even when Rolanda sat down, he just kept eating his nut.

Here I am with Laura and Susie on our walk to Emerald Pools:

And with Glenda, who graciously organized the trip for us:

I wish I could have captured how truly beautiful it was there. No camera can bring that home, some things you just have to experience and I'm so grateful that I was able to.

Have a wonderful day today friends!
