Sparkly Peppermint Candy Card

LOVE Christmas!!

So, what's not to LOVE about this card??

I created this one for my Techniques Geeks classes - it's the Faux Diamond Dust technique. Basically, making your own glitter paper.
And for a lot less expensive than you can buy it at some big box store! Oh yeah!


I stamped the peppermint image in Real Red all over a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, covered it with Versamark ink then embossed it with Heat and Stick Powder. I added Dazzling Diamonds all over it and re-heated with the Heat Tool to set it.
Voila! Glitter paper!

The little peppermint candy embellishment was made with a stamped and punched peppermint image. I wrapped it in a piece of plastic trash from a pack of cardstock, cut off the ends and tied them with Baker's Twine then adhered it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Couldn't have been simpler!
